About the journal

The Southern African Journal of Critical Care (SAJCC) is a scientific journal publishing original research articles, reviews and other articles focusing on the areas of Intensive Care and Critical Care Medicine, Nursing, Technology and Emergency Medicine.

The journal was started and published by the Society of Critical Care Medicine of Southern Africa continuously since 1985.

The journal publishes twice per annum. Occasionally a 3rd issue is published.

Its abbreviated key title is South. Afr. j. crit. care (Online).

English is the publication language for both articles and abstracts.
